In response to the requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and Government to serve the development of the 100 billion yuan electric and electrical industry cluster and its supporting industries in eastern Fujian, the Ningde Price Bureau has issued support policies to implement peak valley electricity prices for the valve casting industry in Fuding City. The fluctuation range has been increased from 15% to 30%, with a trial implementation of one year starting from July 24, 2012.
It is reported that the introduction of this preferential policy for peak and valley electricity prices can greatly reduce the production costs of valve casting enterprises in Fuding City. It is expected to save about 6 million yuan in electricity bills annually, directly driving the development of the local economy. It is reported that the Municipal Price Bureau will continue to implement preferential policies for peak and valley electricity prices for relevant industry enterprises in other counties (cities, districts) that meet the conditions, in order to promote the growth and development of the motor and electrical appliance industry cluster and its supporting industries in eastern Fujian with a value of 100 billion yuan.
